Rather than solely focusing on your carbon footprint, Ecometrix takes a holistic view of your aggregated behaviors and habits to come up with what we refer to as your ‘earth credit rating.’ Your overall score can fluctuate; when it does, we are here to give you feedback as to why this has occurred. These changes become opportunities to educate you and your peers as to what behavior changes can be made to improve your Ecometrix rating.

IDENTITY & CAPTURE
Using a short survey to understand your goals, behaviors & interests, combined with opt in data integration, Ecometrix will personalize your platform so that it may capture and dynamically assess your evolving metric in Ecometrix. When prompted or when you have reached key goalposts, you will receive an Ecometrix diagnostic report on your activities and achievements to date. Moreover, you will have an opportunity to create a tailored identity and profile so that you may connect with peers in the Ecometrix universe.
ANALYZE & RATE
When you opt in and choose to become transparent on your eco behaviors and choices, Ecometrix will take your data and perform its analytics to provide you with insights in each of our select and tailored categories: Transport, Consumption, Waste, and Renewal. Each data variable for these categories will be tallied and result in what you will come to know as your Ecometrix score.

GUIDANCE & REWARD
Subsequent to your category evaluations, you will be given guidance on areas where you can positively impact your Ecometrix rating. Upward progress will be rewarded with Ecometrix-branded benefits and discounts for eco-friendly products, experiences and services. These will always be optional, and we will never sell your data to third parties.

Increasingly, this world's resources are becoming depleted and polluted. In what sometimes seems like the overly-daunting task of tackling the globe's most grave eco problems, the truth is that the impact of an individual's choices and behaviors results in a palpable outcome, and to one that can be changed. In a recent UN sponsored Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, the looming and alarming takeaway was that if we don't begin to make significant changes now, the world will be "...on a pathway to global warming of more than double the 1.5 degree Celsius limit." This concern is also compounded by the fact that the overflow of plastics in our oceans has also now entered our food chain, and as of 2022, micro-plastics are now detectable in our bloodstreams.

Ecometrix was born out of a need for a better response to these realizations and warnings.
